MHRC sets Jul 21 deadline for respondents

In a connection with a complaint case, Manipur Human Rights Commission (MHRC) has asked the respondents to submit status report within July 21.MHRC on Thursday took up a complaint filed by one Md Shahid Ahmed, stating that people living in Jiribam district remain deprived of benefits under PMAGY, PMGPY, NREGA and MGNREGA taken up by department for IVR construction under the Ministry of Rural Development.
After patient hearing of the complaint, the commission directed the respondents to furnish status report of 2018-19-20-21 within July 21.Respondents in the case include commissioner (RD & PR) representing the state of Manipur, DC Jiribam, BDO/SDO Jiribam; Ashma Begum, wife of Md Pheiz Ahmed of Mulargao Muslim village; Md Sattabudin, son of Md Makamda Ali of Agalpur Muslim village; Md Abdul Matib, son of late Imtaj Ali of Ahmedabad Muslim village part-1; Md Habijuddin, son of late Kalamoshi of Kashimpur Muslim village and Hurjahan Begum, wife of Md Abdul Rashid of Sonapur part -2 village.
