Kakching committee celebrates foundation day

Kakching, August 05 2024: All Kakching Clubs' Coordinating Committee, an umbrella body of 18 different clubs in Kakching, celebrated its first foundation day and also held its annual general body meeting at the multipurpose hall of Kakching Mayai Leikai on Sunday.

The celebration was attended by Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar as chief guest, All Committee president Kshetrimayum Dharmadas as president, Senior Citizens' Forum, Kakching president and ex-minister Nongmaithem Nimai, Forum secretary Kshetrimayum Kulahari, Committee advisors Naorem Gopal, Kshetrimayum Rajendra and vice president Moirangthem Tomei as guests of honour.

President Kshetrimayum Dharmadas recounted how the Committee came into being while MLA Rameshwar urged for keeping aside political differences and working together for the development of the district.

Secretary Mayanglambam Maniyaima presented a detailed account of the Committee's activities over the year to the gathering.
