Imphal, January 03 2025: With the aim to provide relief and improve the living conditions of the local populace, the Indian Army installed a new bore well at Saiton village in .Bishnupur district under Operation Sadbhavna.

According to PRO Defence, the project was inaugurated and handed over to the people on Friday in a simple ceremony attended by village chief Ibomcha Singh, members of the village committee and Army personnel.

The initiative is a significant step in fostering sustainable development in the area by providing a reliable source of water for drinking, sanitation, domestic needs and agriculture, the PRO informed, while affirming Army's commitment to uplifting and empowering communities through meaningful initiatives, fostering trust and collaboration with the people it serves.
