Imphal, August 30 2021: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA),Tamenglong on Monday organised an online awareness programme on-the topic "Manipur building and other construction welfare scheme, 2016 to assist labourers in availing benefits provided in the scheme through PLVs" for PLVs and senior citizens of the district.

Speaking at the programme, District and Sessions Judge Imphal West cum DLSA Tamenglong chairman A Guneshwar highlighted ongoing development works in the district including railway, road and various other projects, and stressed the need for delivering the benefits of various welfare schemes to the labourers involved in the projects.

M Purnimashi, who attended as resource person, explained about the various schemes including steps to avail the same.
