Month-long workshop / creative production of "Yenning Mapao" concludes

Imphal, July 25 2022: The valedictory ceremony of the month-long workshop cum creative production of "Yenning Mapao" was held yesterday at Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy.

The event was attended by N Amusana Devi, senior production assistant, production unit, Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy and Sangeet Natak and Manipur State Kala Akademi awardee as the chief guest; Dr Manju Elangbam, Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar awardee and Assistant Professor at Manipur University of Culture as the president of the function and Khumanthem Sundari Devi, Manipur State Kala Akademi awardee and guest faculty at Manipur University of Culture as the guest of honour.

As a part of the ceremony, performances of Nat Sankirtan Cholom, classical solo dance as well as a 30-minute choreographic performance of Yenning Mapao were presented to the gathering.
