Imphal, December 22 2024: As part of its civic action programme, 86 Battalion CRPF distributed rbofing sheets and water pipes to residents of K Senam and T Laijang villages in Kangpokpi district on Sunday.

The distribution programme led by commandant Saurabh Kumar Choudhary was conducted under the guidance of CRPF Manipur & Nagaland Sector IG Dr Vipul Kumar.

The event witnessed active participation of villagers and chairpersons of both K Senam and T Laijang.

As part of the programme, a meeting was also held with the youth of the two villages.

Addressing the gathering, commandant Saurabh explained that the distribution programme is aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the villagers, providing essential support to the community, and fostering goodwill and stronger relationships with the local populace.

The initiate was appreciated by chairpersons and residents of both villages, and conveyed their hopes for continued efforts by the 86 Battalion CRPF to support and uplift local communities in the future.
