NCC 'C' certificate examination conducted

Imphal, July 21 2024: National Cadet Corps (NCC) on Sunday conducted the C-Certihcate Examination at Sainik School, Imphal, as well as Chandel, Churachandpur and Ukhrul with participation of 335 senior division cadets.

In a release, PRO Defence informed that 'C-Certificate Examination is apivotal assessment within the NCC framework, aimed at evaluating cadets' proficiency in various military and leadership skills.

It tests their knowledge in subjects ranging from weapon training and drill practices to map reading and field craft.

The release also mentioned that NCC, Imphal Group HQ group commander brigadier SR Sharma visited the Sainik School, Imphal during the event and highlighted the importance of the examination in shaping the future leaders of the state.

He emphasised, "The C-Certificate Examination not only evaluates the cadets' skills but also instils in them a sense of responsibility and commitment" .
