PNB donates ambulance vehicle

Imphal, January 18 2022:
Punjab National Bank (PNB) donated an ambulance costing Rs 10 lakh to Medical Department of Tengnoupal district as part of the bank's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
The ambulance vehicle was handed over by PNB Imphal Circle chief manager S Stevan Aimol on Tuesday to Tengnoupal deputy commissioner Mannu-amching and chief medical officer Dr Kh Gojen Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, chief manager Stevan praised the selfless contributions of doctors and nurses in saving precious lives and expressed hope that the ambulance donated will help the district medical department in transporting patients from far flung villages to nearest hospital considering the hilly terrain of the district.
Further, he assured that PNB, being a leading bank in the district, will continue to contribute in the overall development of the district.
The handing over ceremony was also attended by PNB marketing officer Raj Kamal Roy, staff of DC Office, local leaders, doctors and nurses of PHC Tengnoupal.
DC Mannuamching also thanked the contribution of PNB and said that the ambulance donated will be of great help to the people of the district while Dr Kh Gojen commended PNB for the noble contribution and vowed to utilise the vehicle for the needy peoplepf the district.
