Will face conflict unitedly: Committee

Bishnupur, September 17 2024: Bishnupur District Protection Coordinating Committee convener Oinam Sonamani has announced collective decision to face the communal conflict raging in the state since May 3, 2023 .

Addressing apress meet at its Ningthoukhong office in the presence of other office bearers on Tuesday, Sonamani asserted that apart from the failure of the government to protect denizens and resolve the prevailing crisis, growing suspicion that it is scheming to wipe out the indigenous communities are some core reasons for people of Manipur to plan and prepare for protecting own land before obliteration.

Mentioning that it is time for all to unite in thought and action, he asserted that the Committee will at the forefront in protecting the state and appealed all indigenous communities in the state to extend support.
