Man found dead near Yangkhullen

Senapati, February 16 2025: A man was found dead in a gorge near Yangkhullen along the Maram-Peren road, NH-129A on Saturday in Senapati district.

Maram police rushed to the spot and retrieved the body later in the evening.

According to Maram Police, the deceased is suspected to be non-local aged around 30-40 years, about 5.2 feet in height and dark complexioned.

The body was found wearing a black half pant, black and white striped shirt and a white jogging.

With no one identifying or claiming the deceased, the body has been deposited at JNIMS morgue for necessary process while an unnatural death case has been registered at Maram police station.

Maram Police stated that if the body is not claimed within three days, necessary legal procedure will be conducted for disposal.
