Discourse on Naga political dialogue conducted

A public discourse Naga political dialogue was organised for Henglep Assembly Constituency (AC) at the All Naga Students' Association, Manipur conference hall, Senapati on February 9 under the aegis of Zeilad Region, NSCN/GPRN.
The discourse was organised by Zeilad Region of NSCN/GPRN with DG Robert as the central administrative officer to make people understand the importance of the ongoing Indo-Naga political talks with reference to the Framework Agreement (FA) .
As per a release of the ministry of Information and Publicity (NSCN), Rongmei people of Loktak Project Area under Henglep AC unanimously resolved to extend fullest support to the collective leadership of NSCN and the Talk team, ongoing Indo-Naga political talks and to appeal both NSCN and Government of India to expedite the peace process based on the Framework Agreement inclusive of the Naga national flag and the Naga constitution (Yehzabo).
It also decided that Naga solution should be inclusive, honourable and acceptable to the Naga people based on the uniqueness of the Naga history.
The meeting was attended by all village authorities, civil society organisations (CSOs), youth wings and students' organisations.
While addressing the meeting, DG Robert stressed on the importance of staying alert lest people are trapped by the unscrupulous elements/agents for mere politicking and appealed to the attendee never to compromise the Naga people's rights for monetary gains.
He also reminded the people that the Indo-Naga political talk is moving in the right track.
The CAO was joined by JK Pamei, GPRN kilonser and member of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) who stressed on the importance of standing together as one body to strengthen our political process for the Naga solution.
