AR air-lifts 11-year-old injured girl

Imphal, September 12 2024:
Assam Rifles in coordination with Army Aviation, provided critical emergency medical support and air evacuated 11-year-old Jenny Zenhauching from Vengkhang, Pearsonmun in Churachandpur district, in the early hours of Thursday.
According to PRO IGAR (S), Jenny suffered severe in juries in a hit-and-run case involving a two-wheeler on September 10.She was diagnosed with a serious head injury, internal bleeding, a fractured left hand, and multiple soft tissue injuries.
Despite being admitted to ICU of Churachandpur district hospital her condition showed no significant improvement.
Upon receiving an SOS request, Assam Rifles medical team assessed her condition and coordinated with the district administration and military channels for urgent air evacuation to Guwahati.
The Assam Rifles medical team closely monitored her condition while being airborne to ensure her stability.
Jenny has been safely evacuated, and her family expressed deep gratitude for the timely assistance and compassion shown by Assam Rifles,
the PRO conveyed.
