Mass vaccination drive conducted

Imphal, August 11 2021: In a bid to make sure every eligible person is administered with Covid-19 vaccine, Thongju MLA and works minister Th Biswajit organised a mass vaccination drive at LDS, Maibi Lampak on Wednesday.

In all, 92 people were administered Covid vaccine during the drive.

Similarly, Rising Knowledge Club, Khoyathong conducted a mass vaccination drive at the premises of the club and inoculated 184 people.

Healthcare workers who took part and supervised the vaccination drive were honoured with presentation of simple gifts by the Club.

On the other hand, Wangkhem A/C MLA K Meghachandra organised a mass vaccination programme at Urban Primary Health Centre, Phouden.

The vaccination programme was attended by Thoubal chief medical officer Dr Y Nokul, UPHC medical officer in-charge Dr Rakesh, Covid Task force volunteers, Asha workers and Phouden Youth Club volunteers among others.
