Imphal, November 09 2024: Kshetrigao Block Congress Committee organised a reception ceremony to welcome newly joined Congress members who previously belonged to BJP, NPP, and JDU at the residence of former Kshetrigao A/C MLA and MPCC member Md Aamin Shah located at Kshetri Bengoon Awang Leikai on Saturday.

Former BJP Kshetrigao Mandal executive member Md Aafjal Khan, Janata Dal United Kshetrigao Mandal president Nongthombam Chandra, NPP executive member Alhaj Mukram, JDU Kshetrigao vice president Angom Leishemba among others joined Congress on Saturday.

The reception ceremony was attended by MPCC member Aamin Shah, general secretary (administration) S Jiten, general secretary (organisation) Aamir Hussain, Kshetrigao Block Congress Committee president Sheikh Abdul Kalam, MPCC general secretary in-charge Kshetrigao Wahidoor Rahman.

Speaking at the event, ex-MLA Md Aamin Shah ridiculed that vision Kshetrigao launched by the present Kshetrigao MLA has now become visionless.

He cited poor road and bridge conditions, rampant unemployment, and rice scarcity as evidence that the initiative has lost its direction.
