Imphal, October 07 2023: A 'Health Mela in connection with 'Ayushman Bhava Campaign' of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare was held at Community Health Centre, Kakching, on Saturday.

A team of specialist doctors and support staff from Shija Academy of Health Sciences screened a total of 132 patients during the camp.

The health mela was organised in partnership with the CHC.

The key aspects of the camp were free OPD consultations with specialists in general medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, paediatrics, dermatology, and eye, as well as free medicine distribution.

ABHA ID, AB-PMJAY, and CMHT registration were also completed during the health mela.

The health mela will be held on a monthly basis, said to a press release issued by Shija Hospitals & Research Institute on Saturday.
