Amazon festival begins, Navratri Store unveiled

The Amazon Great Indian Festival 2024 has been launched with unprecedented success, recording the highest opening figures in its history.
In the first 48 hours, the festival attracted over 110 million customer visits, with 80 per cent of traffic coming from Tier 2 cities and smaller towns.
During the initial 24 hours of Prime Early Access (PEA), the event saw the largest number of prime members shopping, who purchased eight times the average daily amount.
Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), including women entrepreneurs, weavers, and artisans, experienced remarkable growth, selling over 1500 units per minute in the opening days.
Customers took advantage of enticing deals on electronics, appliances, and fashion items.
Notably, participation from Imphal has been strong, suggesting that the Amazon Great Indian Festival is reaching beyond major metropolitan areas and positively impacting local businesses in the region.
Amazon, in also unveiled its Navratri Store, offering an extensive selection of festive essentials to help customers prepare for the celebrations.
The store, which will remain open till October 12, features a wide array of products including apparel, electronics, gadgets, and gifts.
The curated collection is designed to enhance the shopping experience for customers, showcasing popular brands such as Casio, Bodyshop, Realme, BoAt, Samsung, Amazon Echo Dot, LG, Tata, Cadbury, and Titan.
