IIFS awards Dr Kh Robindro

Thoubal, November 30 2021: India International Friendship Society (IIFS), New Delhi has conferred the Rashtriya Gaurav Award 2021 for Meritorious Service, Outstanding Performance and Remarkable Role to psychiatrist Dr Khangembam Robindro Singh.

Rajya Sabha MP Dr Sasi-kalapushpa Ramaswamy handed over the award to Dr Robindro during a seminar on Economic Growth & National Integration held in New Delhi on November 29 .

The award included a memento and a citation.

Dr Robindro Singh is the second son of late Tomba Singh and Thoibi Devi of Thoubal Athokpam Makha Leikai.

He is presently working as consultant psychiatrist at Chandel district hospital and is also chief executive officer cum member secretary of Manipur State Mental Health Authority.

Mention may be made here that Dr Robindro has been spreading awareness about mental health in remote areas of hill districts for the last five years and also through-articles in local dailies and in talk shows.
