Smartphones distributed to KGBV students

Thoubal, August 30 2021: Smartphones were distributed to students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, (KGBV), Ukhongsang in Heirok AC on Monday with the aim of aiding them attend online classes with ease.

Heriok AC MLA Thokchom Radheshyam, KGBV Ukhongsang SMC member Maibam Tunal and Zone (III) Thoubal ZEO Anilkumar Arambam attended as chief guest, president and guest of honour of the smartphone distribution function, which was jointly organised by ZEO zone (III) and SMC of KGBV at the school campus.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Radheshyam exhorted the students to utilise the smartphones properly while urging parents/guardians to watch over their wards as well.

Stating that students are the future pillars of the society, he expressed firm belief that the students of KGBV Ukhongsang will play a huge role in the development of the society in the future.
