CRPF organises civic action programme

Bishnupur, December 27 2024:
In an effort to foster community development and Strengthen ties between the security forces and the local populace, 8 Bn CRPF organised a civic action programme at Warouching under Nambol police station on Friday.
8 BN CRPF commandant Chandra Shekhar, emphasised the significance of the annual initiative aimed at addressing the needs of various institutions, villagers and youth clubs.
He also expressed elation on getting the opportunity to fulfil the long-standing need of the youth and children and assured that the battalion will continue to serve the people of Manipur by carrying out such humanitarian activities.
Sport items including volleyball and net, football, solar lanterns, water purifier, etc., were distributed to the locals of Warounching and Laimaram villages.
Bishnupur district local village heads, public figures, officers from district police Bishnupur, civic bodies, Assam Rifles & CRPF were present on the occasion.
Assistant commandants Sonwane Kiran Madhukar welcomed the locals as Vag Singh delivered the vote of thanks.
Assistant Commandant Rajeev Kumar along with personnel of 8 BN also attended the event.
