CCpur reports 44 new COVID-19 positive cases, 1 death

Churachandpur, May 24 2021:
Churachandpur district reported 44 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours taking the total number of active cases in the district to 450 .
A total of 38 persons (15 male and 23 female) have recovered.
Meanwhile, one person succumbed to COVID-19 at Churachandpur District Hospital, taking the cumulative COVID-19 death in the district to 64, as per the statement issued by District Information Officer, Churachandpur.
Out of the 44 persons confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases, 23 were male, and 21 were female.
Besides, among the 103 persons tested in the Rapid Antigen Test at District Hospital and other testing sites, 44 persons were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases while 143 samples have been collected for testing through RT PCR test.
The total number of positive cases in the district as of May 24 is 3210 which includes 2070 male and 1140 female, while 2691 have recovered.
As per the information provided by the Churachandpur District Hospital authorities, out of the 55 beds at the dedicated COVID-19 centre, District Hospital, Churachandpur, 19 beds are engaged/occupied as of today.
Besides, 80 D Type Cylinders are available as of date at the District Hospital, out of which 14 cylinders are in stock while 17 cylinders are currently in use.
The District Hospital also has 36 B Type Oxygen cylinders, out of which 4 cylinders are in stock.
The remaining cylinders have been sent for refilling.
