Bpr, December 22 2021: Nambol MLA and MPCC president N Loken Singh inaugurated Ishok Chingphu theatre hall constructed with fund from the Ministry of Culture, Loken's MLA Local Area Development Fund and contributions from public.

The inauguration function was attended by the MLA as chief guest, Chingphu Seireng Seidam Lup vice president W Ibohal Singh as president and Leimapokpam Zilla Parishad member L Jiten Singh as guest of honour.

Speaking at the event, MLA Loken recounted that the construction of the theatre hall started around ten years back with fund from the Ministry of Culture but it could make much progress as the ministry did not released even 50 percent of the estimated cost.

Accordingly, fund from his MLA Local Area Development Fund was released in two phases and completed the theatre hall.

Later, MLA Loken also inaugurated a newly constructed Langompokpi Baptist Church falling under Nambol assembly constituency on Wednesday.

The inauguration event was attended by Church pastor Th Thaimeilan, deacons Golmei Nitaichan and Panmei Poucharung, and social worker P Sumila Devi of Kabowakching.
