MLA Imo vows help to COVID affected families

Imphal, May 20 2021: Expressing grave concern over the hardships being faced by the people of Manipur in general and Sagolband assembly constituency in particular due the present crisis situation arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sagolband MLA RK Imo Singh has announced that he would do his bit in rehabilitating the families in his constituency who have lost their near and dear ones to COVID-19.In a release, the MLA declared that Rs 20,000 would be provided to each family who lost a family member in the second wave.

He also assured free education and monetary assistance of Rs 20,000 to children who lost both of parents due to COVID for the next three years or till they attain the age of 18 years whichever is earlier.

He also promised free education and Rs 10,000 assistance to children who lost the family's breadwinner.

The Sagolband MLA further declared that free ration (rice) up to 4kgs per person would be provided for the next one year to families who lost a family member due to Covid.

He also assured of providing essential edible items to all families undergoing home quarantine.
