Imphal, August 14 2021: A CISF team stationed at Imphal Airport on Saturday arrested two people travelling to Delhi with 1480 gm of gold biscuit.

The arrested people nave heen identified as Md Danish Aslam Sheikh, son of Ashlam Sheikh and Md Abdus Sattar, son of Abdul Hamid, both from Pune.

According to police reports, metal detector indicated items hidden inside the body of Md Danish, who was taken aside and body searched during which four gold biscuits weighing 660 gm were found hidden inside his rectum.

On questioning by CISF Crime and Intelligence Wing, he revealed the name of Md Abdus Sattar, who was also apprehended from the check-in area of the Airport.

On checking the latter, five more gold biscuits weighing 820 gm, also hidden in the rectum, were recovered from him.

The accused were about to board an Indigo flight 6E-2209 to Delhi at 2:55 pm Saturday.
