Mobile vaccination begins in Khurai AC

Imphal, July 13 2021: Assembly Segment Covid-19 Awareness and Enforcement Committee, Khurai under the aegis of Khurai MLA L Susindro and support of Imphal East district police began mobile vaccination drive at Lamlong Keithel by checking commuters about their vaccine status.

The recently launched two insulated vaccination buses are being used for the mobile vaccination programme.

Inspecting the drive, MLA Susindro said that the special vaccination drive has been initiated to provide opportunity for getting the vaccine shots to commuters from different parts of the state as a contribution in the fight against Covid-19.Informing that intense vaccination drives are being carried out in the constituency, the MLA appealed to all to carry along their vaccination certificate if they wish to enter the constituency.

The MLA said he will also appeal to the government for making it necessary for commuters to carry vaccination certificate.

Susindro also said that over 1000 vaccine doses are being administered on daily basis in the constituency.

He then appealed to all to get vaccinated to minimise the impact of 3rd wave of Covid-19.Around 200 people were vaccinated during the special drive on Tuesday.
