AR Public School celebrates 15th annual day

Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS) on Thursday celebrated its 15th annual day with great pomp, mirth and fervour at the Col Viplav Tripathi Training Shed IGAR (South), Mantripukhri.
In a release, School principal Dr Alka Jain informed that the programme was attended by School Management Committee patron major general Ravroop Singh, ARWWA regional president Navjeet Kaur, chairman brigadier Neeraj Sharma, Priyanka Sharma, School officer Lt Col AP Abraham, teachers, parents and students.
The celebration commenced with the traditional lighting of lamp by the chief guest and release of the school magazine, "The Enlighteners 2024-2025" .
In his address, the chief guest encouraged the students to pursue excellence and embrace challenges.
As a part of the programme, the progressive annual report was presented by the principal followed by distribution of prizes to meritorious students by the chief guest and chairman, presentation of ARWAA Awards for child achiever 2024-2025, ARWWA Award of excellence given by ARWAA regional president Navjeet Kaur and felicitation of teachers.
The event continued with cultural programmes such as skit on social media, yoga, Nari Shakti dance, Skit on corruption, group song by teachers, etc.
The event concluded with singing of the national anthem and visit of the dignitaries to the school stall where the students showcased their models giving information about the various innovative ideas that have been given shape.
