BSF distributes items, opens KPKB canteen

Imphal, February 12 2025:
10 Bn BSF distributed different items including sports gear, water storage tanks, sanitary pads, incinerator machines, and CGI sheets to locals of Heirok and set up Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB) for the public, ensuring access to essential commodities.
The initiative was taken up as part of its civic action programme (CAP) 2024-25 Friday at City Club, Litan Makhong, Heirok Part-II in Thoubal district.
The programme was inaugurated by Battalion commandant NS Boparai in the presence of second in-command (Ops) Praveen Kumar, E-Coy assistant commandant Pravesh Kumar, village heads, local civil society organisations (CSOs) and club volunteers.
Other attendees include Heirok Part-II pradhan Premjit Singh, Chingdompok High School, Heirok principal L Binot Kumar, Wangjing GP member S Muhindro Singh, Wangjing Junior School principal.
A Somola Devi, City Club, Heirok secretary M Khendu Singh, FUC Club, Wangjing secretary A Roben Singh and UFO, Heirok president L Raghu Singh.
Addressing the gathering, commandant NS Boparai expressed his gratitude towards the local community for their support and cooperation.
He reiterated BSF's commitment to conducting similar welfare activities in the future under the Civic Action Programme, ensuring continued assistance to the people of Manipur.
