Imphal, February 12 2022: A one-day corporate leaders' conclave on 'Role of Universities in fostering entrepreneurship' organised by Management Department of Manipur Technical University was held at Sagolband Moirang Hanuba community hall, here on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, MTU, Management department head Moirangthem Roshni highlighted the importance of the conclave in encouraging students and promoting entrepreneurship spirit among the youth.

Stating that the conclave is the first of its kind in the state, she emphasised on the importance of youth becoming job providers instead of being job seekers.

Interaction with corporate leaders of the state will encourage youth in many ways, she said while underscoring the role of corporate leaders towards promoting entrepreneurship in the society.

Planning Department director N Kulkarni, assistant registrar/finance officer Keisharh Biju and MANIDCO director Peter Salam attended the event as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
