Sit-in staged against bomb threat

Imphal, December 11 2024: Denouncing the grenade threat to Kangla Foods Products, a sit-in protest was staged in front of the food production unit located at Nambol Phoijing Makha Leikai under Nambol police station on Wednesday.

The sit-in was jointly staged by staffers of Kangla Foods Products and Nambol Chingmang Apunba Meira Paibi Lup and Phoijing Makha Meira Paibi Lup.

Speaking on the sidelines of the protest, Meira Paibi activist Oinam Apabi Devi condemned the bomb threat in residential areas, urged all concerned not to resort to such acts and stressed the need for dialogues to sort out any misunderstanding.

It may be mentioned that a hand grenade was found placed at the front gate of the Kangla Foods Products on Tuesday.
