Training for PARAKH begins in Imphal

Imphal, November 07 2024:
A two-day district-level master trainers' training programme for the upcoming PARAKH Rastriya Sarvekshan 2024 commenced at Classic Grande, Imphal on Thursday, ahead of the nationwide survey from December 4 .
The training is being jointly organised by PARAKH, NCERT New Delhi, Samagra Shiksha Manipur, and SCERT Manipur.
During the inaugural session, CEO and head of PARAKH, NCERT New Delhi, professor Indrani Bhaduri provided insights into the PARAKH Rastriya Sarvekshan 2024, highlighted the survey's role in offering constructive feedback and promoting continuous improvement, empowering educators, policymakers, and parents with a clearer understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the education system.
Director of education (S) and Samagra Shiksha state project director L Nandakumar emphasised the significance of the upcoming survey.
He called on all stakeholders involved in the survey of 1,110 schools in the state to approach their work with sincerity and dedication.
The training programme is being held with Dr Gulfam Gulfam and Amandeep Kumar from PARAKH, NCERT New Delhi, resource persons.
