VDF body extends ₹1 lakh aid

Imphal, September 06 2024: Imphal West District VDF Employees' Welfare Association, under theaegis of SP Imphal West, extended financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to Ngangom Ingo, a VDF member, whose wife was killed, and daughter injured in attacks by Kuki militants in Koutruk village on September 1 .

A delegation of the association visited the grieving family on Friday and handed over the cash assistance to Ingo along with sharing the grief and pain of the bereaved family and also wished for early recovery of the injured daughter.

Informing this, a statement of the association said that the assistance was a token of support from the VDF personnel of the district.
