Jiribam, February 04 2025:
With no positive response received even after the 24-hour total shutdown imposed by the District Hospital Monitoring Committee (DHMC) regarding the demand for posting doctors in adequate numbers, and CMO and DMS for the 50-bedded Jiribam District Hospital, indefinite economic blockade has been enforced along NH-37 with effect from Tuesday.
It may be mentioned that the DHMC had warned of blocking NH-37 day after the shutdown if the government does not honour the demands.
