BCC serves Jul 6 deadline to provide urea

Deriding that even though time has come for application of fertilisers in the fields no farmers from Kakching assembly constituency have received the much-needed urea, Block Congress Committee (BCC) Kakching has warned that if the authority concerned does not provide the urea by July 6, then the party workers along with farmers will launch an intense stir from the very next day.
Addressing a press meet at BCC Kakching Office, Kakching Bazar on Sunday, BCC vice president Md Gayajuddin stated that a decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of new office bearers of BCC Kakching.
Earlier, an election of new office bearers of BCC Kakching for the term 2022-27 was held, during which 15 new officials were elected including Nongmaithem Ashok as president; Md Gayajuddin and Phuritshabam Hemanta as vice presidents; Mayanglamabam Memcha as treasurer/cashier; Leishangthem Brojen, Nongmaithem Shanta, Laitonjam Bangkimchandra, Md Bashir Ahamad as secretaries, etc.
The press meet was also attended by Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) secretary Kshetrimayum Kennedy, District Congress Committee Kakching president Md Rahaman Cheishaba, BCC Kakching former president Kshetrimayum Ibohal, BCC Hiyanglam president Chandam Ibomcha, BCC Kakching president Nongmaithem Ashok and Kakching Municipal Council caretaker councillor Mayanglamabam Memcha.
