Senapati observes Savitri Bai Phule Jayanti

Senapati, January 03 2025: Under the sponsorship of Dr Ambedkar Foundation, Rural Advancement Association (RAA), Manipur organised Savitri Bai Phule Jayanti at Maram Union Hall, Senapati on Friday.

Speaking at the programme, RAA president Panii Peter recalled the contributions of Savitri in transforming society, advocating exemplary life in upholding the truth and justice to promote a fair and equal treatment of lives.

The event focused on how to address unfair practices in any society , bring changes in the society for the wellbeing of the people and to follow the good path by joining hands together for the better future.

The programme was attended by different personalities of the districts.

A special cultural troupe from Katomei Centre showcased enthralling cultural dance and folk songs.
