Meanwhile, Bishnupur deputy commissioner has issued an urgent evacuation order for residents living near Thanga Khunjem Road due to severe damage caused by recent heavy rainfall.
The district has been experiencing medium to heavy rainfall over the past two to three days, leading to development of large cracks along a 20-metre stretch of the road.
The DC's order, issued on Friday, warned that the road may collapse at any time, and there is a high risk of landslides that could endanger the houses located on the eastern side of the road.
Residents living in the affected area have been instructed to evacuate to safer locations immediately to avoid potential hazards.
The order also informed that travelling along the road has been strictly prohibited.
