Catholics take out prayerful walk

Senapati, December 01 2024:
The Catholic community of Senapati Parish, Manipur, successfully completed a historic 24 km prayerful walk on Sunday.
The walk that started from 10 am at Senapati turf ground was attended by over 1,000 participants including priests, sisters and people of Catholic faith.
Led by Father Boby and his team, the walk Was a powerful expression of faith and hope.
Participants carried placards, cross and rosaries and prayed for peace in Manipur.
The walk was blessed by Emeritus Dominic Lemon and the participants received holy water sprinkles, read words of God, recited the rosary and sang songs throughout the journey.
Light refreshments were provided by Kabinam and Maram Centre villagers while an ambulance with a doctor accompanied the participants throughout the walk.
The prayerful walk concluded with adoration and blessings at Don Bosco Parish, Maram Centre, where participants gathered to give thanks and praises to almighty God.
This historic event demonstrated the Catholic community's commitment to prayer, peace, and unity.
