35 CRPF personnel of 143rd Bn donate blood

Imphal, July 31 2024: Lamphelpat-based 143rd Bn CRPF in association with RIMS Blood Bank Department organised a blood donation camp on Wednesday during which total of 35 personnel including officers donated blood.

According to a press note issued by 143 Bn CRPF commandant Ravinder Sharma, RIMS Blood Bank HoD Dr K Raj Chandra emphasised how a unit of blood could save precious lives on the sidelines of the camp.

While conceding that operation of blood bank in hospitals would not be possible without the help of donors, Dr Chandra further encouraged the personnel to keep on donating blood as it is safe and most generous human activity.

Meanwhile, commandant Ravinder thanked RIMS Blood Bank, HOD Dr Raj Chandra and his team for helping in organising the camp while stressing that apart from being soldiers they also have social responsibility.
