Imphal, May 31 2021:
Kshetriago Muslim Agents' Association has categorically denied the claims made by Youth for Change to the media that the Fair Price Shops (FPSs) in Kshetrigao are not distributing the allocated quantities of rice to the NFSA beneficiaries of the constituency.
In a video recording released to the press, Association convenor SK Malik said that a body by the name of Youth for Change claimed in the print and electronic media on Sunday and Monday respectively of unequal distribution of NFSA rice in the constituency.
As per the central government's order, only those beneficiaries whose Aadhaar have been linked are being given the rice.
Those claiming to have not received the rice are those whose Aadhaar have not been linked, he explained.
Although FPS agents had urged the beneficiaries to submit the relevant documents for linkage of Aadhaar, many of the beneficiaries failed to submit the documents on time.
Nonetheless, the agents are carrying on the process of linking the Aadhaar so to provide the beneficiaries their benefits,
Malik said.
