Bajaj launches electric 3-wheeler vehicle

Imphal, October 30 2024: The Bajaj RE E-TEC 9.0 electric three-wheeler by Bajaj Auto Limited has been rolled out on Wednesday at Manipur Motors, Mantripukhri, by Manasij Chakraborty, who is branch manager of Punjab National Bank, Imphal Circle.

The launch function was also attended by Manipur Motors GM HC Jain, PNB Imphal, deputy circle head Kundan Kumar, and New India Assurance, Imphal branch manager Khayaongam AC.

Speaking at the launch event, Manipur Motors sales manager Ningthoujam Surshanta Singh explained that Bajaj RE E-TEC 9.0 is equivalent to the earlier petrol model but with an all-steel body.

The vehicle can accommodate four passengers, including the driver, and currently, only one model in blue is available in the state.

He further stated that the vehicle is priced around Rs 4,20,000, but with subsidy could be possessed for around Rs 3,78,000 .

It is equipped with an 8.9 kWh battery having five-year warranty, allowing replacement within the warranty period.

On a full charge, the three-wheeler can cover 178.km.The battery can reach 80 percent charge within three hours and full charge in four hours.

He also mentioned that loan facilities are available through Punjab National Bank.
