AR dedicates water storage tank, conducts lecture

In an initiative under Operation Sadbhavana to address the critical issue of water scarcity and ensure access to clean water for the local population, Assam Rifles inaugurated a 50 KL capacity water storage tank at Zikpi Tampak village in Churachandpur district.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the inaugural ceremony was attended by Assam Rifles personnel and village chief along with around 82 villagers.
The village chief expressed gratitude, noting the project's significance in meeting local needs and strengthening community ties.
On the other hand, Assam Rifles conducted a 'Say No to Drugs' awareness lecture and rally at Phoilen village and New Samtal in Chandel district with the aim to educate the community, particularly the youth, about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a healthier, drug-free lifestyle, the PRO added.
