Khundrakpam committee continues to help people

Imphal, June 26 2021: Khundrakpam Kendra Development Committee, under the aegis of MLA Th Lokeshwar, continues to help families in containment zones of the assembly constituency by providing essential and other edible items.

The committee handed over the items to 11 families of Sagolmang, 17 families of Pukhao, three families of Haraorou, seven families of Khundrakpam and MLA's neighbour and four families of Tangkham on Saturday.

Committee president Sorokhaibam Yaiskul said the local MLA is helping people but it was very unfortunate that government is failing to understand pulse of the people at this hour of crisis.

He said that people of the state would suffer more next year due to lapses on the part of the health, CAF & PD and agriculture departments and this must be discussed by the government and devised an action plan.

Yaiskul also donated two 50 bags of rice and Rs 5000 in cash to one Khongbantabam Machaton of Pukhao Terapur from his side.
