Shiv Sena welcomes Kangla oath ceremony

Shiv Sena Manipur Pradesh general secretary (administration) H Premkumar has hailed the joint oath taken by Aram-bai Tenggol and 37 MLAs and two MPs at Kangla on Wednesday morning, to bring about a solution to the prevailing conflict in Manipur within 15 days.
In a press release, Premkumar informed that the party had submitted a five-point memorandum to the Prime Minister, union home minister, Governor of Manipur, and chief ministers of Manipur and Maharashtra.
In addition, another team would soon leave for New Delhi to meet the party's MPs ahead of the parliament session, so as to draw their attention and discuss issues besieging the state in the parliament.
The memorandum contained demands for international border fencing along the 398km border between Manipur and Myanmar, setting up a Highway Protection Force on NH-102 & 37, withdrawal of SoO with Kuki armed outfits, handing over chairmanship of unified command to Manipur state and replacing Assam Rifles from Manipur.
