RIMS organises Swachhta health camp

Imphal, December 22 2024: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in association with the Rotary Club, Imphal organised Swachhta health camp under the Swachhta Action Plan 2024-25 at Heirok Ngarouthel SPO office, Thoubal on Sunday.

Informing this in a release, RIMS media cell said that the health camp provided vital medical care to around 650 individuals and facilitated by doctors from various departments of RIMS including Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT, Medicine, and Eye Care.

The health camp targets at providing healthcare to internally displaced communities.

Attendees received free medical treatment along with essential medicines distributed at the health camp.

This initiative saw participation from RIMS doctors, staff and students and provided medical assistance, health screenings, and raise awareness about hygiene and sanitation, the release added.
