Man found shot dead in Takhel

Imphal, July 20 2024: A man was found shot dead at Takhel Ngaram road under Lamlai Police Station at around 3.20 pm on Saturday.

According to a police report, the deceased man seems to be around 30 to 35 years of age with short hair.

He was found wearing navy blue jeans with white colour sports shoes and olive-green colour jacket.

At the time of discovery, the hands of the deceased were found tied on the back and had a gunshot wound on his head.

On receiving news of the discovery, a team of Lamlai PS arrived along with a mobile forensic expert team for investigation.

After an inquest of the dead body, a case was registered and the body shifted to JNIMS morgue for post mortem examination.
