Kakching police donates oxygen concentrator

Kakching, May 20 2021: Kakching District Police donated one Oxygen Concentrator to the district Covid Care Centre opened at Kakching Higher Secondary School on Thursday.

Kakching SP Victoria Yengkhom handed over the oxygen concentrator to Chief Medical Officer, Kakching Thaodem Rajen Singh at her office premises in the presence of additional SPs Kshetrimayum Manihar, Athokpam Romendro and Yumnam Joyraj, SDPO (Sugnu) Hanjabam Rameshwor, District Surveillance Officer Dr Kiran Elangbam and Covid Home Isolation District Nodal Officer Dr Kshetrimayum Sumati.

Speaking at the event, Victoria Yengkhom informed that personnel of the district police pooled the money and purchased the oxygen concentrator from a dealer authorised by the state government.

She then appreciated the Chief Medical Officer Kakching team and others in facilitating purchase of the machine, while appealing to the people to adhere to the Covid-19 protocols and help reduce the rate of infection in the district.
