JNMDA director, CRPF CO meet Governor

Imphal, July 17 2024: P Bilash Singh, director Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA), met with Governor Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan, here, on Wednesday to discuss challenges confronting the JNMDA students.

Bilash apprised the Governor of difficulties faced by the students in attending the academy due to the ongoing conflict.

The agendas for the academy's advisory committee meeting, scheduled for Thursday at the Raj Bhavan, were also discussed during the meeting.

Eleven points pertaining to various issues of JNMDA, Sangeet Natak Akademi, and State Kala Akademi will be discussed in the meeting.

Meanwhile, Govind Prasad Uniyal, commandant 109 Bn CRPF, called on Governor Anusuiya Uikey at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.

It was Govind Prasad Uniyal's first meeting with the Governor since becoming the battalion's commandant.

The 109 Bn CRPF is looking after the security of the Governor and the Raj Bhavan in Imphal.
