Imphal, July 17 2022: As part of strengthening the Village Level Child Protection Committee (VL-CPC) in Imphal West district, three new VLCPs were formed on Sunday in a joint meeting hosted by World Vision India, Imphal West Area Programme, Imphal West District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) and Social Welfare Department at Tera Loukham Leirak in Imphal west.

The meeting co-chaired by Lamjaotongba Gram Pancha-yat pradhan Elangbam Sush-ila, Sapam Leirak GP pradhan Athokpam Bishworjit and Langjing GP pradhan Mongjam Romen was attended by 42 representatives of PRI, DCPU, World Vision India, community leaders, CBO, ASHA, AWW, ANM, differently abled persons and Child Clubs.
