Imphal, October 14 2024: Assam Rifles brought a day of excitement and inspiration, to life at the Company Operating Base (COB), Komlakhong in Imphal West district with more than 150 students from schools like Moral Guidance School, Komlakhong; Komlakhong Upper Primary School; Smart Universal Academy, Sekmaijin; and Unique Public School, Phoubakchao, joining 'A Day with the Company Commander' event.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the event began with a warm welcome as students were greeted at the COB and the National Anthem was sung during the flag hoisting ceremony, which were then followed by Yoga, a mandir parade, motivational film screening, games, painting and dancing competitions and a mini fashion show.

AR also offered the students a glimpse into military life, wherein the students handled military equipment.

On the occasion, prizes were distributed to winners, creating a memorable rendezvous for the children, said the PRO.
