Imphal, August 14 2022: A musical event was conducted at Kakching and Mantripukhri Garrison for the troops and families of Kakching, Pallel and Mantripukhri Battalions of IGAR (S) on Saturday and Sunday on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the event commenced with breathtaking performance by talented Symphony band of Assam Rifles which played inspirational and motivational tunes.

Further the vibrant dancers of Manipur Sangeet Akademi mesmerized the audience with their scintillating performance.

The musical Gala graduated to the next level when Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa challenge 2005 winner Debojit Saha, along with Aditi Roy and Naba Volcano enthralled the captive audience wherein they belted out several popular film songs for the crowd of nearly 600 plus audience.

Meanwhile, Churachandpur Battalion of IGAR (South) also conducted debate and drawing competition for young talents of P Sejol village in Churachandpur district on Sunday on the occasion Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
