Khurai AC achieves 94.63 pc vax rate: MLA

Imphal, August 14 2021: Khurai MLA L Susindro on Saturday said that his constituency has achieved 94.63 per cent vaccination rate against Covid-19 by inoculating 31,245 out of 33,108 eligible individuals so far.

He also informed that private vaccination centre and mobile vaccination programme in his constituency will conclude on August 25.In a video release, the MLA said that 15,845 individuals received their vaccine doses at Kangleipak Nursing Institute (private centre) and the remaining 15,400 at Popular High School.

Only 1773 people (5.37 per cent) are yet to get the vaccine.

Those who wish to get the vaccine after August 25 and those who are eligible to get the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine can get their shots at the vaccination site located at Paragon Club, Khurai Tinsid Road, he said.

He also thanked the people of his constituency for their contribution in the fight against the pandemic by getting the shots and the healthcare professionals as well as other officials who played major role in the vaccination drive.

The two mobile vaccination buses also contributed significantly in achieving the target, he added.
