Statewide shutdown from July 16 warned

Imphal, July 13 2021: JAC of All Manipur 10th & 11th IRB Riflemen-2019 Viva Voce Complete Candidates has cautioned of imposing a statewide total shutdown from July 16 if the results of 10th and 11th IRB Riflemen 2019 were not announced.

As per a JAC release, the government and the authority concerned have been repeatedly requested to declare the examination results but to no avail.

As such, a statewide shutdown will be imposed from the intervening night of July 15 and 16 in association with the candidates, guardians, All Hill Tribal 10th and 11th IRB Riflemen.

Informing that essential services, medical and religious activities would be exempted during the shutdown, the JAC appealed to the people of the state to extend their support and help save the youth.

Any unwanted consequences resulting from the shutdown should be the sole responsibility of the government, it added.
